THE FURRY SIDE

Raising my loves didn’t start w/my children. I have always had some sort of animal in my life. Literally, not one day of it went without some sort of critter and usually a few at a time. I'd say, “furbabies,” but it also includes some that had shells, scales, feathers or slithery smooth skin, etc. My goals growing up were to find a career working with animals (horse and dog trainer, jockey, vet, barrel racer, etc) and/or sea life. Sadly, life had other plans for me and I was never able to reach those dreams. I never would have made it through life without the unconditional love and companionship each of those furbabies brought. Many times it seemed they were the only ones there at times I really needed someone.

My lifetime experience includes many breeds of dogs from tiny 5 pound breeds to extra large breeds (160 lbs), cats, three horses and a pony, a pygmy goat, fresh and saltwater fish, rabbits (domestic and wild), pigeons, iguana, chickens, parrots (multiple kinds), parakeets, gerbils, hamsters, mice, guinea pigs, turtles (several types), snakes (various sizes, but all non venomous), opossum and even a squirrel monkey. Honestly, there have been so many over the years I probably left something out. Let’s just say pretty much any animal I found I tried to give a loving home too. My mom wasn’t so happy about it, but allowed it. It might have slowed down slightly, but I still take some in as I can or foster.

I am the owner/operator of this company. However, I will have others along for the ride for safety reasons as well as assistance with driving on long hauls and help with walking your furbabies during the stops along the way.

Handing your pet over to strangers is no easy task that’s for sure. No worries! I remember each of my kids and their first days of getting on the school bus and the worry I had for each of them. Knowing the bus drivers and teachers personally comforted me a lot and them as well. Just the same, I know transporting can be very stressful for your babies, but you can feel confident that my team and I will provide top quality care for your precious babies the same as if they were our own! I will provide a comfortable safe ride with calming music.
