RIP SWEET AUNT B...

She was the "B" in BUSY B's

Betty was born to William Wesley & Hazel Etta (Latta) Nunnally on December 2, 1925 in Indpls, IN. At an early age Betty’s art ability won her a scholarship to the John Herron Art Institute in Indpls. Betty served as the president of the Alpha Chapter of the Omega Phi Tau Sorority Indpls. Betty married the love of her life William E. Brunson in 1942. William served with honorable promotions in Patton’s Army WWII as Betty served in the Army Corps of Engineers, as a map drafter. The family with daughter Cinda Sue & son William Wesley moved to FL in 1969. Soon after Brunson’s Paint & Body Shop & Wrecker Services were open at 471 Main Street, Dunedin. Betty was invited to join the Creative Artists Guild Inc. and she suggested a board of 6 directors and a chairman - this proved to be a success. Later when Betty was Chairman she helped create the “Council of Fine Art” organization, it too was a success, and grew to include a large number of the areas fine art organizations. These groups combined to frequently hold large exhibits to display the artist’s work. Betty’s original creations of 3’ tall shell trees were popular at the Festival of Trees and were also sold for the benefit of the Guild. Betty was honored by the Creative Artists Guild by being made a Lifetime Member for her wonderful work and dedication.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, William W  & Hazel E (Latta) Nunnally, Patty Nunnally (sister), Jack W Nunnally (brother), Cinda Sue (Brunson) Hauser (daughter), William W.
